What type of election do we have in New Zealand? An election is the process to choose someone to be their political leader or representative in government . In NZ we have a democratic election. This week we are celebrating being a New Zealander and all the beautiful cultures that we have here in NZ.  Questions : Q1. Where were you born and how long have you lived in NZ? I was born in SA and I have lived in New Zealand for a year now. Q2. What languages can you speak? or what language would you like to learn and why? MY WHANAU STORY “Mum you have to smile!” Grandma rolled her eyes and shot a cheeky grin at the camera. The multi million dollar company, Mcdonald's Mcdonald's is one of the biggest companies in the world, with over 68 million stores worldwide. But most people still don’t know how it evolved from a small family restaurant to a big multi million dollar company. The Restaurant Back in 1940 a small barbecue restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice Mcdonald opened in San Bernardino, California.Then in 1948 they reorganized their business as a burger stand. 5 years later the first Mcdonald's franchise using the arches logo opened in Phoenix, Arizona. THE FALLEN He didn’t mean to kill her. It was accidental, she slipped away from the cliff so quickly and ever so quietly. She had accidently let go of his claws while he was pulling her up, but it was his fault for not catching her as she fell.    He soared down the cliff until he was hovering above her lifeless body. He reached out a claw and brushed her wing aside, revealing deep cuts. Her necklace, which had shattered, lay beside her and the egg she had been holding was in her claws.
