How Well Do We Know Our Teachers?






This week is get to know your teacher time? As teachers we get to know a lot about
our students, their families, their hobbies, likes/dislikes etc.

How well do you know your teacher?



This may require a bit of work. You may need to ask your teacher some of these

questions to find out.




1. What schools did your teacher go to when they were growing up?
St Clair primary, Tahura intermedite and Otago boys high school.


 2. What is your favourite thing about your teacher and why is that important
to you?

That he is not strict when we get things wrong because I make lots of mistakes in my work.


3. What does your teacher enjoy doing when they are away from school?
Going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.


4. What made them want to be a teacher?
He just decided to become a teacher.


5. What is it about your school that your teacher likes the most?
All the friendly students and teachers.


6. Why are you his/her favourite students?
Because we dont mck around or yell like other classes and we have a positive attitude
towards our learning.


7. If your teacher could do another job what would it be and why?
Run his own buisness so he coutld be his own boss.


8. What do you think your teacher would be great at if they were not a teacher?
Maybe being a cashier or someone that helps at kindergarten.



9. Why do you think it is important that you get to know your teacher?
So you know who is teaching you for the year.



10. If you were your teacher what would you do differently to make your
classroom better
I would bring back desks because tote trays are annoying.
